THIS REMOTE IS SELF PROGRAMABLE, HOWEVER THERE VERY SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO SELF-PROGRAM THIS REMOTE TO YOUR VEHICLE PLEASE READ INFORMATION BELOW VERY CAREFULLY.
THERE ARE TWO SEPARATE PROGRAMMING PROCEDURES YOU NEED TO FOLLOW IN ORDER TO HAVE THIS KEY BE FULLY FUNCTIONAL TO YOUR VEHICLE. PROCEDURE ONE IS PROGRAMMING THE TRANSPONDER (IMMOBILIZER) CHIP AND PROCEDURE TWO IS PROGRAMMING THE REMOTE FUNCTION (LOCK,UNLOCK, PANIC, TRUNK)
(PROCEDURE ONE): THIS KEY HAS A TRANSPONDER/IMMOBILIZER CHIP INSIDE OF IT WHICH TALKS TO YOUR VEHICLE'S IGNITION SYSTEM IN ORDER FOR IT TO START. FOR THIS PROGRAMMING YOU WILL NEED TWO WORKING KEYS IN ORDER TO DO IT YOURSELF. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TWO WORKING KEYS YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE THE KEY TO A PROFESSIONAL (LOCKSMITH, MECHANIC, OR DEALER) TO HAVE IT PROGRAMMED. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU THIS, SO PLEASE CALL AHEAD OF TIME SO YOU KNOW THE EXTRA COST INVOLVED TO SYNC THE KEY TO YOUR VEHICLE.
(PROCEDURE TWO): THE OTHER PART OF THE PROGRAMMING IS THE ACTUAL KEYLESS REMOTE FOB (UNLOCK, LOCK, PANIC, TRUNK) BUTTONS. FOR THIS PART YOU WILL NEED ONE WORKING REMOTE TO SELF-PROGRAM THE REMOTE TO YOUR VEHICLE. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE WORKING REMOTE YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE THE REMOTE TO A PROFESSIONAL (LOCKSMITH, MECHANIC, OR DEALER) TO HAVE IT PROGRAMMED. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU THIS, SO PLEASE CALL AHEAD OF TIME SO YOU KNOW THE EXTRA COST INVOLVED TO SYNC THE KEY TO YOUR VEHICLE.
IF YOU HAVE LOST ALL OF YOUR REMOTES/KEYS AND DO NOT HAVE AT LEAST ONE WORKING COMBO, YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE THE KEY AND REMOTE YOU PURCHASE FROM US TO A PROFESSIONAL (LOCKSMITH, MECHANIC, OR DEALER) TO HAVE IT PROGRAMMED. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THIS, SO PLEASE CALL AHEAD OF TIME SO YOU KNOW THE EXTRA COST INVOLVED TO SYNC THE KEY TO YOUR VEHICLE.
BOTH PARTS OF THE SELF-PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS ARE LISTED BELOW.

FOR REMOTE PART (LOCK, UNLOCK, PANIC, TRUNK)
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE ONE WORKING REMOTE TO ADD ONE MORE TO THE SYSTEM. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE WORKING REMOTE RIGHT NOW THEN THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL NOT WORK. YOU WILL HAVE TO GET IT PROGRAMMED BY A LOCKSMITH, MECHANIC, OR DEALER.
1. Press LOCK button 5 times at 2 second intervals to resynchronize remote.
2. Insert key into the ignition switch. Turn ignition to the RUN position
(as far as you can go without cranking engine). Wait for ignition chimes
to stop.
3. Using the working remote, press and hold the UNLOCK button on the remote
for 4 to 10 seconds.
4. Within the specified 4 to 10 seconds, continue pressing the UNLOCK button
and then press the PANIC button ( on the programmed remote ) for 1 second
and release both buttons. A chime will sound to indicate that the remote
programming mode has been entered ( allow 3 seconds for chime to sound ).
5. Within 30 seconds of the chime, press and release the LOCK and UNLOCK
buttons simultaneously then press and release just the UNLOCK button
on the same remote. A chime will sound indicating the remote has been
programmed. Press and release the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously
and then press the UNLOCK button on each new remote you wish to program
at this time. A chime will sound after each additional remote is programmed.
6. Turn the ignition OFF and remove key.
7. Test Remotes.
FOR KEY TRANSPONDER/IMMOBILIZER CHIP (METAL KEY)
PLEASE NOTE: THIS PROCEDURE CAN ONLY BE USED ON VEHICLES BUILT IN USA. YOU MUST HAVE TWO WORKING PROGRAMMED REMOTE/KEYS BEFORE YOU CAN ADD A THIRD REMOTE/KEY. IF YOU ONLY HAVE ONE WORKING REMOTE/KEY AND WANT TO ADD A SECOND KEY THIS PROCEDURE WILL NOT WORK AND YOU WILL HAVE TO GET IT PROGRAMMED BY A LOCKSMITH, MECHANIC, OR DEALER.
1. Using first programmed remote/key turn ignition to the ON position
for 5 seconds. (Do not crank engine). Turn remote/key off and remove.
2. Within 5 seconds insert second working programmed remote/key.
Turn ignition to the ON position (Do not crank engine) security light
will begin to flash and chime will be heard within 10 seconds. Turn
remote/key off and remove. NOTE: Some vehicles will not chime,
only the security light will flash.
3. Within 5 seconds insert third NEW CUT remote/key and turn ignition to
the ON position (Do not crank engine). The security light should start
flashing and within 10 seconds you should hear a chime and the
security light should go out. Once the security light goes out, the new
remote/key should be programmed. Turn remote/key to the OFF
position, remove key.
4. Test key and remote.
