The Chevrolet Suburban is the longest continuously running automobile nameplate in the world. It is a full-size, extended length SUV that has been in production since 1934 in the US and is one is continually one of GM’s most profitable vehicles. The Chevy Suburban is the big brother of the Tahoe, featuring a full-sized cargo area and seating for up to 9 passengers. The Suburban’s generous size and rugged build has lent it to become a well-rounded fleet vehicle and is often used in a wide range of commercial applications including the construction industry, the oil fracking industry, the emergency services industry, and even as a limousine in the presidential fleets of secret service vehicles.
Recent model years have seen the introduction of Suburban keyless entry systems that allow the driver to lock and unlock the vehicle’s doors with a remote. Some trim levels also include a key fob with a remote start feature.
